Address Bar - Definition
The address bar is a thin, white box that is located beneath the toolbar at the top of a web browser, such as Mozilla Firefox. Within the address bar, a user types the URL (web address) they want to bring up. In addition to retrieving various web sites, the address bar displays the current site being viewed and can also be used to enter individual search terms or search strings to retrieve a listing of all related web sites.
