Adjusting The Text Size For Internet Explorer, Firefox And Netscape

Modern Web Browsers allow us to adjust the Text Size on our screen. This feature lets us view our Web Pages in a manner that is comfortable and easy upon our eyes. Therefore, if you find yourself squinting a lot while surfing the Web, you may want to increase the Text Size. Therefore, this technical brief will show you how to increase the Text Size in Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and the Netscape Browser programs.

Adjusting The Text Size For Internet Explorer

  1. Begin by ensuring that you are connected to the Internet.
  2. Then launch Internet Explorer in the manner that you normally do.
  3. After a page loads, click on the word View contained in your top tool bar area.
  4. This will pull down a menu for you to now click on Text Size.
  5. Now choose a larger text size setting according to your reading preference.
  6. Once a setting is selected, Internet Explorer will adjust the text size accordingly.

Adjusting The Text Size For Mozilla Firefox

  1. Begin by ensuring that you are connected to the Internet.
  2. Then launch Firefox in the manner that you normally do.
  3. After a page loads, click on the word View contained in your top tool bar area.
  4. This will pull down a menu for you to now click on Text Size.
  5. Now click on Increase Ctrl++ to increase the text size.
  6. Or click on Dncrease Ctrl+- to decrease the text size.
  7. You can also click on Normal Ctrl+O to return back to the default setting.
  8. After you click on a choice, Firefox will adjust the text size accordingly.

Adjusting The Text Size For Netscape Browser

  1. Begin by ensuring that you are connected to the Internet.
  2. Then launch the Netscape Browser in the manner that you normally do.
  3. After a page loads, click on the word View contained in your top tool bar area.
  4. This will pull down a menu for you to now click on Text Size.
  5. Now choose a larger text percentage, such as 120%, to increase the text size.
  6. Once a setting is selected, Netscape will adjust the text size accordingly.
