Battery Pack - Definition
A Battery Pack consists of two or more electrochemical cells that are joined so the combined voltage is capable of powering an electrical device. To accomplish this, the battery pack must be connected using the appropriate series and parallel arrangement. Components of battery packs include the individual batteries or cells, and the interconnects which provide electrical conductivity between them. The result is more voltage available to operate devices like radio controlled hobby toys and battery electric vehicles.
