Centronics - Definition
Centronics commonly refers to the company, (Centronics Data Computer Corporation), that designed the Parallel Port. The parallel port is also called the Centronics interface and is found on the back of personal computers. It is a 25-pin (type DB-25) computer interface commonly used to connect printers. It also acts as a data transfer port between computer when using a direct cable connection data cable.
