Windows Vista™ allows us to change the appearance of our folders, Start menu, Control Panel, and application windows so they look more like previous versions of the Windows. Follow these steps to change the Control Panel back to the Classic View, which will display all the individual applets.
To Change The Windows Vista Control Panel To The Classic View
- Click the Start button located in the lower-left corner of the Windows Vista desktop.
- Then click on Control Panel.
- In the left pane, click Classic View.
- Windows Vista will then change the Control Panel to the Classic View.
Note: If you want to switch back to category view, you would click Control Panel Home.
