The Sidebar is a new feature of Windows Vista™ that resides on an area of your desktop where you can store small programs, called gadgets, to quickly access information. Follow the steps below to close the Sidebar. Note: Closing the Sidebar won’t close detached gadgets that are stored on your desktop.
To Shut Down The Windows Vista Sidebar
- Click the Start button located in the lower-left corner of the Windows Vista desktop.
- Then click All Programs.
- Now click on the Accessories folder.
- Then click on Windows Sidebar.
- Windows Vista will then Close the Windows Sidebar.
Note: After closing the Windows Sidebar, it minimizes itself to the taskbar. To quickly open it again, right click on the Sidebar icon
in the notification area of the taskbar, and then click on Open.
How To Erase Your Surfing History Forever
Your hard drive might appear clean but still be full of Sensitive Material that you didn’t want to download in the first place. It might very well be a Serious Criminal Offense in your Country to have that material stored on your computer, even if you didn’t know it was there. Pressing “Delete”, Emptying your “Recycle Bin”, Erasing your “Cookies” or even “Formatting” your disk may not work as the “sensitive material” will still remain on your drive. You can be held fully responsible for any data that you allow to remain on your system even if it was only by accident. Any of the following Evidence Eliminator software can truly protect and help you clean all your Sensitive Information. So don’t delay, download your Free Trial Version Today!
