Favorite - Definition
A Favorite can be considered a stored web site location so that it can be quickly accessed by modern web browsers, such as Mozilla Firefox. Their primary purpose is to easily catalog and access web pages that a user has visited or will visit, by name rather than by web site address. By virtue of the browser’s large market share, the term Favorite has become virtually synonymous with the term Bookmark. Online access software, such as AOL and CompuServe, contain Favorite Places to essentially provide the same feature.
