Flat Panel - Definition
A Flat-Panel display is a particular video display that is much thinner than that of a standard type computer monitor. Modern computers now use Flat-Panel display as they take up less room, being used with either a laptop or a desktop computer. The technology itself uses gas plasma or liquid crystals. Most Flat-Panel display screens are backlit, which makes them easier to read in bright environments.
