Use Google To See What Sites Are Linking Back To Yours

Here is a neat little search tip I came across within Google for all those Web Masters who would like to know what other web sites are linking back to them. If you maintain a links page, and have traded links with others sites, this is also a good way to check if the other sites have actually posted your link. Therefore, this technical brief will show you how to use Google to see what sites are linking back to yours.

Using Google To See What Sites Are Linking Back To Yours

  1. Open up your Internet Browser in the manner that you normally do.
  2. Type www.google.com into the address bar and hit Enter to launch the Google site.
  3. Now type link:www.yoursite.com (entering your site name as appropriate) into the search area.
  4. Now Click on the Google Search button to have Google display what sites are linking back to yours.
