Hardware - Definition
Hardware is a part of a computer’s system, consisting of electrical, magnetic, mechanical, and electronic components as distinguished from the computer software that executes within the hardware. The types of mechanical devices that would make up a computer’s hardware include the monitor, keyboard, mouse, processor, speakers, printer and also the digital circuitry. Most computer hardware is not seen by normal users. It is in embedded systems in automobiles, microwave ovens, compact disc players and so on.
