Hypertext - Definition
Hypertext is a scripting language that tells a web browser, such as Mozilla Firefox, how to display text, links and graphics on a web page. It is an innovation to user interfaces, which overcomes the limitations of written text. Rather than remaining static like traditional text, Hypertext makes it possible to dynamically organize information through links and connections called Hyperlinks. HTML is the most widely used format.
