Macro - Definition

A Macro is a script that operates a series of commands to perform a function. It is set up to automate repetitive tasks. For instance, a Macro file can be set up to contain a sequence of instructions that can be executed as one command. These commands can be in the form of a key, symbol or name. As an example, one symbol could represent a predefined list of commands.
