Offline - Definition
Offline is a state that marks a component in a cluster as unavailable. A node in an offline state is either inactive or not running. Resources and groups also have an offline state. It also means not under the control of a central computer, as in a manufacturing process or experiment and also not connected to a computer or computer network.
