Pad-Printed Keypad - Definition
A pad-printed keypad refers to the printed ink on the legend of the keycap located on a standard keyboard. Pad printing is a common process for imprinting notebook computer keyboards using light colored legends on the dark keys. Prior to being installed on the notebook, the printed keyboard is baked. If a person were to look at a notebook keyboard, they would see the white lettering on the dark keys, which is the pad-printed keypad.
