Recycle Bin - Definition
Recycle Bin, in the Windows Operating System, is the place in which Windows stores deleted files. You can retrieve files you deleted in error, or you can empty the Recycle Bin to create more disk space. Keep in mind that if you have deleted files through a MS-DOS prompt or shell that the files will not go to the Recycle Bin.
