Registration can be considered a formal record of entry of personal information. When customers want to sign-up to participate in an online forum or shop at online store, they will have the opportunity to register as a member. The registration usually consists of creating a user name, password, a short profile, e-mail address and a billing and shipping address if they are engaging in online purchases.
