How To Properly Un-Install Programs From Your Computer

A vital part in performing computer maintenance has everything to do with properly uninstalling computer programs that are no longer needed. True in the old days whenever we wanted to delete a no longer needed MS-DOS program, we could simply highlight the specific directory folder and hit the delete key on the keyboard to remove it. This was because those MS-DOS programs installed all their application files within their own specific directory folder without scattering them all over your drive. Windows programs are different and they do install additional files to other directories of your drive such as the Window’s System folder etc. Therefore, if you were to simply delete the program directory, system files relating to that program will still be on your drive leaving you susceptible to system error messages. Therefore, this technical brief will show you how to properly uninstall programs from your computer.
