How To Properly Un-Install Programs From Your Computer

A vital part in performing computer maintenance has everything to do with properly uninstalling no longer needed computer programs. In the old days whenever we wanted to delete a no longer needed MS-DOS program, we could simply highlight the specific directory and hit the delete key remove it. This was because those MS-DOS programs installed all their application files within their own specific directory without scattering them all over your drive. Windows programs are different and they do install additional files to other directories such as the Window's System folder etc. Therefore, if you were to simply delete the program directory, system files relating to that program will still be on your drive leaving your system susceptible to errors. Therefore, this technical brief will show you how to properly uninstall programs.
