URL (Uniform Resource Locator) - Definition
URL is an abbreviation for Uniform Resource Locator, which is simply an address on the World Wide Web. Every website has its own URL, or address. When a person wants to visit that website, the relative URL is typed into the address bar. For instance, if a person wants to visit Google.com, they would type into the address bar www.google.com, which is the URL.
