Web Server - Definition
A Web Server is also called HTTP Server. It’s a computer that runs server software to provide functionality where web sites and Internet sites are stored. The server software uses HTTP to serve HTML documents, associated files, and scripts when requested by a web browser, such as Mozilla Firefox. Any computer can be turned into a web server by installing server software and connecting that computer to the Internet.
