Worm - Definition
A Worm in relation to computers is a software program that has been developed to reproduce, spreading from one computer to another via the network. Worms are bad and work by taking advantage of automated file sending and receiving options used with most computers. One of the most famous worms dates back to 1988 in which multiple UNIX computers on the internet were completely shut down.
